1956 In a general amnesty, Richard Wurmbrand is released after serving eight-and-a-half years in prison. He has undergone horrific tortures at the hands of the brutal secret police and warned to never preach again. Despite the treatment he received from his captors, Richard treated them only with kindness, just as the old carpenter treated him years before. |
