On March 14, police in Fushun City, Liaoning, China arrested house church leader Ms. Gu Changrong (54) while she was sharing her faith with Mr. Yu Mingfu, secretary of the Communist Party in the village. According to a March 31 report from China Aid Association, Yu called the police and accused Gu of "poisoning Communist Party members" with her Christian message. According to Gu's relatives, she has been sentenced to one year of "re-education through labour" at the Ma San Jin Labour Camp which is known for its harsh treatment and torture of prisoners.

Ask God to protect Ms. Gu in the labour camp. Pray that she will be a bold witness for Christ there. Pray that the persecutors of Christians in China will open their hearts to the love of Christ as Saul did (Acts 9:1-19).
